Use Hadoken to control the horizontal space, but be ready to stop your projectile pressure if Rashid sets up a Whirlwind Shot current.

Ryu's standing medium kick is an excellent tool for poking Rashid out of his forward movement or dash attempts in neutral.

If Rashid commits to a heavy Spinning Mixer on block, punish him immediately with a heavy punch combo or a Shoryuken.

Use Denjin-enhanced Hadokens to break through Rashid's Whirlwind Shot, as the extra hit will often win the projectile trade.
- 0
Utilize Drive Reversal if Rashid starts his corner pressure loops, as his mix-ups can be difficult to block correctly for long periods.

Look for Rashid's predictable jump-ins and use Shin Shoryuken as a reliable punish for his more reckless aerial maneuvers.
