Use Hadoken cautiously at mid-range, as Terry can use Burn Knuckle or Crack Shoot to bypass projectiles if your timing is predictable.
- 0
Prioritize Shoryuken to stop Terry's Power Dive and jumping attacks, as he relies on these to close the distance quickly.
- 0
Denjin Charge Hadoken is highly effective for breaking through Terry's Power Wave and forcing him to block or parry.
- 0
Be ready to parry Terry's Crack Shoot; it is a common approach tool that can be neutralized if you anticipate the arc.
- 0
Use standing medium kick to poke Terry at the tip of his range, preventing him from easily starting his target combo pressure.
- 0
Avoid over-relying on Drive Impact in neutral, as Terry has several fast, cancelable normals that allow him to react and counter-DI.
- 0
Watch for Terry's Buster Wolf when he has Level 3 Super stocked, as it can punish fireballs from a significant distance.
- 0
Focus on pushing Terry toward the corner where his movement is restricted and his defensive options against Ryu's pressure are limited.
