Zone consistently with Gou Hadoken to force Alex to take risks with Slash Elbow or Stomp to close the distance.
- 0
Use standing MK as a primary poke to keep Alex just outside of his Power Bomb range while checking his forward movement.
- 0
Vary the timing and follow-ups of Hyakki Shu to bait out Alex's Air Knee Smash or heavy anti-air normals.
- 0
Be cautious with Drive Impact, as Alex can often cancel his Flash Chop into his own Drive Impact or a Super Art.
- 0
Utilize Ashura Senku to reposition and escape the corner if Alex begins his Lariat and command grab pressure loops.
- 0
Use Zanku Hadoken during jumps to disrupt Alex's timing when he attempts to use Headbutt to get underneath your air approach.
- 0
Prioritize safe jumps and conservative pressure, as Akuma's low health makes him extremely vulnerable to Alex's high-damage punishes.
- 0
Watch for Alex's EX (OD) Headbutt on your wakeup, as it serves as a dangerous reversal that can lead to a full knockdown.
