Use Zanku Hadoken to alter your jump arc and bait Luke's Rising Rocket, which can be punished heavily on landing.
- 0
Adamant Flame can be used to blow through Luke's Sand Blast at mid-range, but it is risky if Luke predicts it and waits to punish.
- 0
Akuma's Standing Medium Kick is an excellent tool for poking Luke just outside the range of his target combos.
- 0
Vary your Hyakki Shu follow-ups to keep Luke guessing, as his Crouching Heavy Punch is a very reliable anti-air against predictable approaches.
- 0
Be cautious when using Gou Hadoken at mid-range, as Luke's Level 1 Super can reactively punish the recovery through the projectile.
- 0
Utilize Ashura Senku to escape the corner if Luke pins you down with Sand Blast pressure, but ensure you have enough space to recover safely.
- 0
Focus on Perfect Parrying Luke's multi-hit Flash Knuckle charges to gain the frame advantage needed to start your own pressure.
- 0
Since Akuma has lower health, prioritize safe knockdowns over maximum damage to maintain pressure and avoid trading hits with Luke.
