Utilize Mai's wall jump and air mobility to escape the corner, as Marisa's pressure is most lethal when you are pinned against the wall.
- 0
Bait Marisa's Scutum stance by feinting an approach and then using a throw to punish her defensive posture.

Be careful with Musasabi-no-Mai divekicks, as Marisa can easily armor through the hit or use her anti-air options if the timing is predictable.

Use Mai's multi-hit moves or fast low pokes to break Marisa's armor if she relies too heavily on charging her heavy punches.
