Keep Elena at bay with consistent Kacho Sen fan tosses to prevent her from building the rhythm needed for her close-range pressure.
- 0
Use Mai's aerial mobility to change your trajectory mid-air, making it difficult for Elena to time her specific anti-air kick angles.
- 0
If Elena attempts to back away to use her Healing Super, immediately use Hissatsu Shinobi-Bachi to close the distance and interrupt her.
- 0
Watch for Elena's long-range heavy kicks and use Drive Impact to power through them, as they often have high commitment and recovery.
- 0
Utilize Ryuuenbu as a reliable anti-air if Elena tries to jump over your fan projectiles to get inside your guard.
- 0
Stay mobile and avoid staying in the corner; use Mai's wall jump to reset the neutral if Elena starts her rhythmic pressure strings.
- 0
Use Mai's low-hitting slides to counter Elena's standing pokes, catching her while she is extended during her kick animations.
- 0
Focus on depleting Elena's Drive Gauge with fan chip damage, as she relies heavily on Drive Rush to close the gap against zoners.
