Keep Honda out with Kacho Sen, but vary your timing and heights to prevent him from timing a Sumo Dash or Headbutt through them.
- 0
Use your superior walk speed and standing Heavy Kick to punish Honda if he whiffs a Sumo Headbutt or Sumo Dash in neutral.
- 0
When Honda uses Sumo Smash (Buttslam), use your mobility or a well-timed jump to reposition and punish him from behind.
- 0
Utilize your wall jump to escape the corner if Honda pins you down, but be careful not to be caught by his vertical anti-airs.
- 0
Focus on chipping away at Honda's Drive Gauge with long-range pokes to force him into Burnout, where his Headbutt becomes much riskier.
- 0
Use Drive Parry against incoming Sumo Headbutts to gain Drive Gauge and reset the situation to neutral.
- 0
Your Level 1 Super Art is an excellent tool for catching Honda if he attempts to close the gap with a predictable Sumo Dash.
- 0
Avoid staying stationary for too long; constant movement makes it difficult for Honda to land his Oicho Throw or heavy pressure strings.
