Use the armor on Gladius to absorb a Sonic Boom and strike Guile simultaneously if he is within range of your punch.
- 0
Utilize Scutum to walk through Sonic Booms, but be ready to use the low follow-up if Guile tries to poke your legs to break your stance.
- 0
Time your Phalanx to leap over projectiles, but avoid doing it predictably or Guile will easily punish you with a Flash Kick.
- 0
Focus on using charged heavy normals to chip away at Guile's Drive Gauge, as he becomes significantly less dangerous when he cannot use OD moves or Drive Reversal.
- 0
Watch for Guile's crouching medium kick, as it is his primary tool for hitting you out of your armored startups which only cover your upper body.
- 0
Once you have conditioned Guile to block your heavy strings, use Enfold to bypass his charge-based defense and deal massive damage.
- 0
Use Drive Impact to punish Guile if he gets predictable with his standing heavy punch or other long-range pokes during neutral.
- 0
Cornering Guile is your win condition; use your size and reach to keep him trapped and force him to guess between your overheads and command grabs.
