Use the Renversé spin to pass through JP's projectiles, but time it carefully to avoid being caught by his ground spikes.
- 0
Utilize Drive Parry to approach JP safely, preserving your Drive Gauge while closing the distance against his multi-hit zoning.
- 0
Once in range, prioritize landing Manège Doré to build medals, as JP's defensive options are weaker once he is forced to guess.
- 0
Use the overhead version of Dégagé to hop over JP's low projectiles or to punish him for being too predictable with his zoning.
- 0
Be cautious with Drive Rush in neutral, as JP can easily intercept it with his long-reaching standing heavy punch or Torbalan.
- 0
If you suspect JP will use Amnesia on your wake-up, use a shimmy or a delayed strike to bait the counter and land a high-damage punish.
- 0
Use your standing medium punch to contest JP's pokes in the mid-range, as it has excellent reach and can lead into target combos.
- 0
Focus on cornering JP; his zoning becomes significantly less effective when he has no room to retreat or set up portals.
