Use Renversé to pass through Akuma's standard fireballs, but be careful not to use it against his multi-hit Zanku Hadoken.
- 0
Focus on landing Grand Fouetté or Manège Doré early in the match to build your medal count, making your late-game threats much scarier.
- 0
Use Rond-point or standing heavy kick to consistently anti-air Akuma's Demon Flip and jump-in attempts.
- 0
Your standing heavy punch has great reach; use it to check Akuma's forward movement and discourage him from walking into his optimal range.
- 0
When Akuma is in burnout, your command grab becomes an even more potent threat as he loses access to his invincible reversals.
- 0
Use Drive Parry against his air fireballs to preserve your Drive Gauge and prevent him from gaining too much frame advantage.
- 0
If Akuma teleports or whiffs a Shoryuken, capitalize with your most damaging medal-building combo to punish his low health pool.
- 0
Be mindful of Akuma's Ashura Senku; if he tries to teleport through your pressure, use a quick medium button to catch his recovery.
