Use Bakkai to pass through Ryu's Hadokens once you reach drink level two, but ensure you are at the correct range to avoid being blocked and punished.
- 0
Be cautious when drinking in neutral, as Ryu can quickly punish the animation with a Hadoken or a buffered Drive Rush.
- 0
At drink level three, utilize the Tenshin command grab to break through Ryu's defense if he becomes overly reliant on parrying your Rekka strings.
- 0
Bait Ryu's Shoryuken by using empty jumps or shimmying during your pressure, as Ryu players often rely on it to escape corner pressure.
- 0
Use your sweep into the follow-up drink carefully; Ryu's standing heavy punch has excellent reach and can punish poorly spaced sweep attempts.
- 0
At drink level four, your dive kick is essential for altering your jump arc and baiting Ryu's anti-air timing.
- 0
Focus on using Drive Parry against Ryu's fireballs to maintain your Drive Gauge while looking for an opening to advance.
- 0
Keep Ryu cornered whenever possible, as his lack of high-mobility escape tools makes him vulnerable to Jamie's varied mix-ups.
