Prioritize getting your first two drinks early, as Akuma's low health makes your upgraded combos significantly more threatening.
- 0
Use Bakkai to punish Akuma's Gouhadoken on reaction, turning his zoning attempts into full combo opportunities.
- 0
Vary the height of your divekicks to mess up Akuma's anti-air timing, especially if he relies on crouching heavy punch.
- 0
Drive Parry or dash under Akuma's air fireballs to avoid being pinned down and to close the gap safely.
- 0
Once you reach drink level three, use Tenshin to break through Akuma's defense if he becomes too reliant on blocking your pressure.
- 0
Be mindful of Akuma's Raging Demon when he has Level 3 Super; avoid being too predictable with your close-range pressure.
- 0
Pressure Akuma aggressively on his wakeup, as his low health often forces him to take risks with invincible reversals.
- 0
Use your sweep carefully in neutral, as Akuma's standing heavy kick has the range to punish it if you misjudge the distance.
