Use Drive Parry against JP's long-range projectiles and spikes to preserve your Drive Gauge while slowly gaining ground.
- 0
Prioritize reaching Drink Level 1 quickly to unlock the Luminous Dive Kick, which is essential for bypassing JP's ground-based ghosts and spikes.
- 0
Bakkai can pass through JP's projectiles if timed correctly, allowing you to punish his zoning and close the gap simultaneously.
- 0
Avoid predictable Drive Rushes in neutral, as JP can easily intercept linear movement with Torbalan or a well-placed Triglav.
- 0
When JP sets up Departure portals, use your mobility to stay out of the teleport range or prepare to punish the recovery if he commits to the move.
- 0
Be extremely cautious of JP's OD Amnesia when applying pressure; use shimmies or delayed strikes to bait the counter and land a heavy punish.
- 0
At Drink Level 3, the Tenshin command grab becomes a vital tool to break JP's defense if he becomes too reliant on blocking your strings.
- 0
Use your sweep followed by a drink to safely build resources after a knockdown, but stay alert for JP's long-range wake-up options.
