Prioritize reaching Drink Level 2 to unlock Bakkai, which allows you to slide under Alex's high-hitting pokes like his standing heavy punch.
- 0
Keep Alex out of Power Bomb range by using standing medium kick to poke at his midsection and disrupt his forward movement.
- 0
Use Drive Reversal if Alex pins you in the corner with Flash Chop pressure to reset the situation to neutral where you can breathe.
- 0
Be wary of using Swagger Step predictably, as Alex can punish the recovery with a Slash Elbow or a well-timed command grab.

At Drink Level 4, your enhanced movement speed makes it much easier to whiff punish Alex's heavy, slow-recovery normals.
- 0
Use the Tenshin command grab at Drink Level 3 or higher to open up Alex if he becomes too reliant on Drive Parry or blocking.
- 0
Punish Alex's missed or blocked Slash Elbows with a full Freeflow Strikes sequence to gain both damage and drink momentum.
