Use Sunshot to dominate the horizontal plane and discourage Akuma from walking into his preferred poke range.
- 0
Sun Rise is a reliable tool for knocking Akuma out of the air, especially when he attempts divekicks or Hyakki Shū.
- 0
Implement Sun Shine when Akuma becomes predictable with his heavy buttons or overhead attacks to turn his momentum against him.
- 0
Keep Akuma at mid-range to give yourself enough time to react to Gou Hadoken with a Perfect Parry or Drive Impact.
- 0
Avoid overusing Sun Dive in neutral, as Akuma's Gou Shoryuken can easily intercept the move for a heavy punish.
- 0
Capitalize on Akuma's low health by prioritizing consistent, high-probability combos over complex, risky setups.
- 0
Use Drive Reversal immediately if Akuma begins his heavy pressure strings in the corner to reset the neutral game.
- 0
Wait for Akuma to commit to a teleport or a long-recovery special before committing to a Super Art to ensure a clean hit.
