Use your long-range standing kicks to keep Alex at a distance where his Power Bomb and Lariat cannot reach you.
- 0
Elena's low-profile slides and crouching kicks are excellent for going under Alex's Flash Chop or high-hitting Lariat attempts.
- 0
Utilize Drive Impact if Alex becomes predictable with his Slash Elbow, as the armor will absorb the hit and allow for a full counter-combo.
- 0
Keep a close eye on Alex's Drive Gauge; if he burns out, your pressure with Rhino Horn becomes much harder for him to escape without a reversal.
- 0
Use your fast walk speed and backdashes to bait out Alex's anti-air Knee Smash, then punish his landing recovery with a swift combo.
- 0
When Alex is charging his moves, use your mobility to reposition and stay out of the direct line of his horizontal Slash Elbow.
- 0
Incorporate Mallet Smash overheads frequently, as Alex players often focus on blocking low to prepare for their own charge-based defense.
- 0
If Alex lands a knockdown, use an invincible reversal or a well-timed backdash to avoid his command grab and strike mix-up.
