Use Air Slasher to control the pace of the match, but vary the timing to prevent Marisa from timing a Gladius to armor through it.
- 0
Utilize Jus Cool backswings to bait out Marisa's heavy buttons or Scutum, then punish her with a follow-up strike or a full combo.
- 0
Keep Marisa at bay with standing medium punch and crouching medium kick to contest her range without committing to slow heavy attacks.
- 0
Be cautious with Drive Impact, as Marisa's multi-hit armored moves can often break through it or recover fast enough to counter.
- 0
Use Air Slasher feints frequently to see how the Marisa player reacts; if they commit to a jump or a lunge, you have time to anti-air or block.
- 0
Anti-air Marisa's jump-ins reliably with Jackknife Maximum to prevent her from starting her high-damage pressure and command grab mixups.
- 0
When Marisa uses Scutum, you can often use a well-timed throw or a low attack to bypass her armor and reset the neutral.
- 0
Focus on keeping the fight in the center of the stage where your movement and feints are most effective at confusing Marisa.
