Control the ground with Air Slasher, but vary your rhythm to prevent Blanka from timing a slide or a Level 1 Super through the projectile.
- 0
Keep Jackknife Maximum ready at all times to shut down Blanka's jumps and aerial Blanka Ball approaches.
- 0
Use the Jus Cool sway to evade Blanka's rolling attacks and follow up with a punish once he lands in front of you.
- 0
Standing MK is an excellent poke in this matchup to stop Blanka's forward movement and disrupt his startup animations.
- 0
Be wary of using Air Slasher at mid-range if Blanka has Level 1 Super available, as he can react and go through the projectile for a full punish.
- 0
Use Drive Impact to catch Blanka if he becomes predictable with heavy Blanka Balls or long-range physical pokes like standing HP.
- 0
Prioritize Drive Gauge management, as Blanka's pressure and chip damage become significantly more difficult to handle when you are in burnout.
- 0
Machine Gun Upper can be used to punish Blanka Balls that are blocked at close or medium range if you react quickly enough.
