Use Psycho Crusher to punish Guile for throwing Sonic Booms if you can predict the timing, allowing you to close the gap instantly.
- 0
Shadow Rise and its follow-ups are excellent for bypassing Guile's ground game, but vary your timing to bait out his Flash Kick.
- 0
Focus on planting the Psycho Mine early; it makes Guile's defensive playstyle much riskier and enhances your combo potential.
- 0
Use Knee Press at the tip of its range to stay safe while chipping away at Guile's Drive Gauge and forcing him to block.
- 0
Bait Guile's Flash Kick by using empty jumps or stopping your pressure strings early, as he will often look for it to escape your close-range offense.
- 0
Drive Rush behind your heavy pokes to force Guile into a high/low or throw mix-up, making it harder for him to maintain his down charge.
- 0
When Guile is cornered, use your Psycho Mine explosions to create guard break scenarios or high-damage resets.
- 0
Target Guile's Drive Gauge aggressively; once he is in burnout, his defensive capabilities drop significantly without access to OD Flash Kick.
