Use Sand Blast to negate Sonic Booms, but avoid getting into a pure fireball war at full screen where Guile has the advantage.
- 0
Utilize Drive Parry to navigate through Guile's projectile wall to preserve your Drive Gauge and prevent chip damage.
- 0
Your Vulcan Blast Super Art is an excellent tool to punish Guile for throwing a Sonic Boom if you have the meter and react quickly.
- 0
When Guile is holding a charge, use Drive Rush into overheads or low attacks to force him to break his defensive stance.
- 0
Be extremely cautious with jumping, as Guile's Somersault Kick is one of the most reliable anti-airs and will punish most air approaches.
- 0
Use your heavy punch normals to poke at Guile's limbs when he attempts to set up a Sonic Blade at mid-range.
- 0
If Guile relies heavily on Sonic Cross, use OD Avenger to armor through the projectile and strike him during his recovery.
- 0
Pressure Guile on his wake-up with meaty attacks to make it difficult for him to build the down-charge required for a Somersault Kick.
