Keep Honda at bay with Fuharenjin projectiles to force him to jump, setting up easy Tensenrin anti-air opportunities.

Honda's Sumo Smash is difficult to anti-air traditionally; try dashing forward to make him whiff behind you or use an invincible Tensenrin.
- 0
Use your standing medium kick to poke Honda out of his startup animations, as it has excellent reach and keeps you outside his grab range.
- 0
If Honda becomes predictable with Sumo Headbutt, use Drive Impact to absorb the hit and land a high-damage punish counter.
- 0
Be wary of Honda's Oicho Throw when cornered; use backdashes or neutral jumps to avoid the command grab and punish his recovery.
- 0
Build Fuha stocks whenever Honda is playing defensively, as your enhanced specials are necessary to contest his high health and armor.
- 0
Avoid throwing fireballs carelessly when Honda has Level 3 Super available, as he can blow through the projectile to hit you from long range.
- 0
Leverage your fast walk speed to shimmy Honda near the corner, baiting out a desperate Headbutt or Hundred Hand Slap that you can punish.
