Use Triglav to check Zangief's forward movement, especially if he attempts to walk and block through your projectile sequence.
- 0
Vary the timing and version of Torbalan to catch Zangief attempting to Drive Rush or jump over ground-based threats.

Set Departure portals to restrict Zangief's pathing, forcing him to hesitate and navigate around the potential teleport or projectile follow-up.

Rely on standing heavy punch or Stribog as consistent anti-airs to prevent Zangief from jumping over your zoning for a high-damage punish.

Be cautious with Drive Impact near the corner, as Zangief can react with a command grab if he predicts the impact attempt.
- 0
Use OD Amnesia sparingly against Zangief's close-range pressure, as he can bait it and punish with a devastating command throw.

Keep Zangief at the maximum reach of your staff pokes to interrupt his Lariat or Tundra Storm attempts safely.

Utilize your Level 1 Super, Choboke, to push Zangief away and reset the neutral if he successfully closes the gap.
