- 0
Use Sonic Blade to neutralize JP's Torbalan and Triglav projectiles while building your own offensive momentum.
- 0
Be patient with Sonic Booms; JP can punish predictable fireballs with Amnesia or Departure teleports if you become too rhythmic.
- 0
Flash Kick is an excellent answer to JP's jump-ins, but be wary of his air-to-air options if you are caught crouching for too long.
- 0
Utilize Perfect Parry against JP's long-range pokes to close the distance without losing significant Drive Gauge.
- 0
Drive Rush behind a slow Sonic Boom to force JP to choose between blocking or using a risky counter-move like Amnesia.
- 0
Watch for JP's command grab at mid-range; jumping or back-dashing is necessary as it cannot be blocked like his other projectiles.
- 0
Keep JP in the corner using Sonic Cross to limit his movement and force him to use his reversal under pressure.
- 0
Save Super Art 3 for punishing JP's Departure setups or when he attempts to zone from a distance with heavy recovery moves.
