Use Sonic Blade to create a stationary barrier that disrupts Dee Jay's horizontal movement and Drive Rush attempts.

Stay disciplined with your anti-airs; use crouching Heavy Punch if you lose your charge, as Dee Jay's Knee Shot can make Flash Kick timing difficult.

Watch for Dee Jay's slide (Down-Forward + Heavy Kick) at mid-range, which can go under high Sonic Booms if timed correctly.

Be wary of Dee Jay's shimmy game in the corner; he can easily bait your OD Flash Kick with his fast back-walk.
- 0
Use your standing Light Kick or crouching Light Punch to check Dee Jay's Drive Rush approach before he can start his pressure.

In the fireball war, remember that Dee Jay's Air Slasher has a feint version that can trick you into jumping or throwing a Boom at the wrong time.
- 0
Maintain your spacing to keep Dee Jay at the tip of your normals, preventing him from easily starting his target combo pressure.
