Establish a consistent Sonic Boom game to keep Blanka at a distance where his Rolling Attacks are most reactable.
- 0
Use standing heavy punch to swat Blanka out of the air if he attempts to use Rainbow Ball to cross over your head.
- 0
Be patient with Flash Kick timing; Blanka can use Air Ball to stall his descent and bait an early anti-air attempt.
- 0
Sonic Blade creates a multi-hit barrier that is excellent for neutralizing Blanka's slides and ground-based approach tools.
- 0
If Blanka uses Coward Crouch, use low-reaching pokes like crouching medium kick to hit him out of the stance before he can follow up.
- 0
Manage your Drive Gauge carefully, as Blanka's corner pressure and command grab can quickly lead to Burnout if you over-rely on Drive Impact.
- 0
Use Sonic Cross to create a slow-moving shield that forces Blanka to jump, making his movement predictable for your Flash Kick.
- 0
Punish blocked heavy Rolling Attacks with a long-reaching normal or a Super Art to discourage Blanka from using them as a primary approach.
