Use uncharged Psycho Flicker to check Ken's Dragonlash Kick attempts, as the horizontal reach can stop his forward momentum before he lands.
- 0
Be ready to anti-air Ken's jumps with Psycho Upper, as Ken players often jump to avoid Ed's ground-based flicker pressure.
- 0
When Ken uses Jinrai Kick, look for the gap before the follow-up to interrupt with a fast standing light punch or a Drive Reversal.
- 0
Maintain a distance where Psycho Spark and Shoot can force Ken to block, limiting his ability to freely use Drive Rush.
- 0
Avoid over-committing to Psycho Knuckle in neutral, as Ken can easily punish the long wind-up with a fast Super Art or Drive Impact.
- 0
Use Kill Switch Break to escape the corner if Ken starts his heavy pressure strings, but be wary of his air-to-air options.
- 0
Watch for Ken's standing medium punch target combo; blocking the full string allows Ed to take his turn back with a fast button.
- 0
Use Psycho Blitz carefully, as Ken's fast recovery on many of his normals allows him to punish it if it is not spaced correctly.
