Use Kikoken to contest JP's ghosts; walking behind the fireball allows you to close space safely while forcing him to block or parry.

Hazanshu is an effective tool to leap over JP's low Torbalan projectiles and punish him for being predictable at mid-range.
- 0
Be cautious with Drive Rush in neutral, as JP's long-reaching normals and Stribog can easily intercept you if your timing is telegraphed.

Utilize Tensho Kicks as a reliable anti-air to stop JP from jumping out of the corner or using air teleports to escape your pressure.

When JP sets a Departure portal, stay aggressive to prevent him from freely choosing between the teleport or the overhead/low follow-ups.

Chun-Li's crouching medium kick is an excellent poke to catch JP's feet when he attempts to walk back and set up his zoning tools.
- 0
Focus on Perfect Parrying JP's long-range spikes to gain Drive Gauge and close the gap without suffering the chip damage of blocking.

Bait JP's Amnesia reversal during your pressure strings, as a successful bait allows for a full punish combo that can turn the tide of the round.
